1. Who we are
Zambahola Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 29 Repton Grove, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 6SJ. Companies House number: 16613797. VAT number: 499 248 331.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through zambahola.co.uk and are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO registration number: ZC129449).
2. What data we collect
When you place an order we collect: your name, delivery address, billing address, email, phone number, and order details. Payment card details are never stored by us — they are processed directly by Stripe. When you create an account we additionally store a hashed password.
When you use our website we may collect technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via cookies. You control this consent via the cookie banner.
3. How we use it
We use your personal data to: fulfil your orders, communicate about your orders, send marketing emails (only if you have opted in), comply with legal obligations (including HMRC records), and prevent fraud.
4. How long we keep it
Order and financial records: 7 years after the last transaction, as required by UK tax law. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days. Account data: until you request deletion, then deleted within 30 days (subject to financial record retention).
5. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary data with: Stripe (payment processing), our chosen couriers (to deliver your order), Cloudflare (DNS and email routing), our accounting platform (Xero), and HMRC (legal compliance). We never sell your data to third parties.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct your data, delete your data (right to be forgotten), export your data (data portability), restrict processing, and object to marketing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@zambahola.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use cookies to run the website (essential), to remember your cart (functional), and with your consent to analyse traffic (analytics) and serve ads (marketing). See our Cookie Policy for details.
